Frank A. Aycock is a 27-year professor of communication and a former local broadcaster.He is a futurist and affirm believer in the transformative power of the new television technologies. He has authored two cutting-edge books on the transformation of television, 21st Century Television: The Players, The Viewers, The Money and Television In The Cloud (with Adam Powers).He earned his PhD at the University of Tennessee, an MA in Communication from Auburn University, and a BA in Broadcasting from the University of Alabama.He is global vice-chair for education of the International Cloud Television Broadcasters Association.

Kevin Wilson grew up around baseball, thanks to his grandfather, Norman Sylvester Wilson, who played and managed a sandlot baseball team, called "The Glenarden Braves." He intentionally named his small marketing business, Sylvester Enterprises, SP, in 2003, in honor of his grandfather.As C.E.O. of Sylvester Enterprises, SP, its primary mission is to educate, encourage and entertain, hoping to deter a youth from drugs, alcohol, nicotine and gun violence. Our trendsetting clients are promoted in academic/athletic settings, print/broadcast media, government entities, and in film.Additionally, he is an established journalist, who has authored countless of news, features and sports features for local, national and international publications. He is the first black male to graduate from Elon University, in the English/Journalism curriculum- 1981.He has eloquently spoken at recreation centers, career day, prisons and churches. He's been a quest on radio/television talk shows. Chosen by filmmaker Tim Green, he became a Co-Producer/Writer for a Short Film, featuring a Blind Filmmaker.

Lakshmi Srinivas’ research interests are in creative industries, public culture and consumption and leisure and more specifically in popular cinema and its production and reception, Indian cinema, audiences, and ethnographic research. Following her undergraduate education in South India, she received an MA and PhD in Sociology from the University of California, Los Angeles and an MA in Demography from the University of California, Berkeley. Her research papers are based on an ethnographic study of cinema-going and film reception in India and have been published in Media, Culture and Society, Visual Anthropology, Ethnography, South Asian Popular Culture and Comparative American Studies. She has also contributed to the Routledge Handbook of Indian Cinemas and to edited volumes on Indian cinema and Asian media and globalization. She is Assistant Professor of Sociology at the University of Massachusetts, Boston where she teaches courses on Indian cinema, media, popular culture and technology and society.

Daniel Smith completed his BA at California State University Fullerton in 1983, and has worked in various roles throughout film and video ever since. He began teaching in 1991, and is currently Professor of Television and President of the Academic Senate at Mt. San Antonio College. He has been a member of the Television Academy since 2003.

Maria Mayenzet’s career has spanned over twenty-five years working in regional theatre, film, and television. She is a professional actor, director, playwright, short film director and producer. She has been a guest lecturer at Pepperdine University, Chapman University, Eckerd College and Women in Film in Hollywood. She has a BA in Drama from University of California, Irvine and an M.F.A in Acting and Directing from California State University, Long Beach. She is a full-time Faculty member in the Cinema Television and Radio Department at Saddleback College, teaching Performance for Television and Film and Video Production.
