Born September 13,1946 is at present Retired from Professor of Kayachikitsa (Internal Medicine) & Head Department of Panchakarma incharge Clinical research J.B.Roy State Ayurvedic Medical College & Hospital, Kolkata. Schooling at Hari Prasad High School Nalhati, Birbhum in 1961, under-graduate Ayurvedic course at the same college he served in 1966 and stood first . He joined IMS, BHU for MD (Ayurveda) in 1967 under Prof Y.N. Upadhaya. To work on therapeutic uses of Cobra venom (Bengal school of tradition). In 1970 shifted to the Department of Pharmacology for Ph.D research under Prof A.K. Sanyal.. In his 42 years of professional carrier he served different institutions CCIM, CCRAS, ICMR, AYUSH, UGC, DST, BHU, and UPSC in different capacity. On Ayurveda teaching, research, guide and examined BAMS, MD(Ay), Ph.D, MV.Sc, M.Tech (Pharmaceutical technology), M.B.A (Herbal Pharmaceutical Management), BHA. He is member of Academic Committee, School of Natural Product Studies, Jadavpur university. He represents thirteen generation of traditional family and apprenticed under his father since childhood. His only son Dr. Parikshit Debnath, BAM.S following the same tradition, completed M.Phil Public Health at BIHS, Under Dhaka University. PersuadingM.D(Ayurveda) at SDM Ayurveda College, Hasan, Karnataka. Clinical Research on gastric Physio-pharmacology , Immunomodulatory activity of Ayurveda Rasayan on Stress adaptation and on Pulmonary tuberculosis add on therapy with AT Drugs helped him to work on HIV/AIDS project with NACO, AYUSH and ICMR.. He had worked with more than 50 medicinal plants and published more than 150 research papers. Member several International and National Scientific Organization and Visited European and African countries London, Malyasia , Italy, Cameroon, Bangladesh. Formidable contributions of Professor Pratip Kumar Debnath are on .new drug development, and evidence based medicine on natural products, Makaradhawaja and bhasma preparation. In 1992 he published issues on “Reverse Pharmacologyâ€. Elected President Indian Science Congress Association (Medical & Veterinary) in 2002, appointed expert by Government of India on Traditional Medicine for WHO and AU 2008.Recepient of Uvnas Prize, in the Year 1977 and 1989. Dr. Debnath was felicited with Fellowship on the 15 th Covocation February, 2009, National Ayurvedic Academy. Government of India. Member Technical Committee, Pharmacovigillance on ASU drugs. Elected Fellow of the Indian Pharmacological Society, 1911. Consultant – National Research Institute of Ayurveda for Drug Development, Kolkata Department of AYUSH, Ministry of Health & Family Welfare, Government of India.

Dr. Olga Golubnitschaja has studied journalism, biotechnology and medicine and was awarded fellowships for biomedical research in Paediatrics and Neurosciences (Medical Centres in Austria, Russia, UK, Germany, The Netherlands, and Switzerland). She is well-cited in the research fields of “gene hunting†and “subtractive hybridisation†applied to predictive prenatal & postnatal diagnostics published as O.Labudova in years 1990-2000.
Dr. Golubnitschaja is an expert in molecular diagnostics actively publishing in the fields of perinatal diagnostics, Down Syndrome, Diabetes mellitus, hyperhomocysteinemia, cardiovascular disease, neurodegeneration, cancer. She is the author of fundamental works in the integrative concept of predictive, preventive and personalised medicine. She is Secretary-General of the European Association for Predictive, Preventive & Personalised Medicine (EPMA, Brussels), Editor-in-Chief of \"The EPMA-Journal\", BMC, London, Book Editor of \"Predictive Diagnostics & Personalised Treatment: Dream or Reality\", NSP, New York 2009; Book-Series Editor \"Advances in Predictive, Preventive & Personalised Medicine\", Springer.
