Probiotics in the Treatment of Difference trichological pathology.
Purpose Radiant skin and hair are universally recognized as indications of good health. However, this ‘glow of health’ display remains poorly understood. We found that feeding of probiotic bacteria may induced integumentary changes mimicking peak health and reproductive fitness characteristic such of much younger persons. Along these lines, experimental and clinical studies have shown that the dietary enrichment with certain ‘probiotic’ organisms activates immune and metabolic pathways that restore tissue homeostasis and promote overall health. What are probiotics for? ➢To restore individual microbiota ➢For modulation of immunity ➢For correction of metabolism ➢To improve digestion ➢To eliminate infection and suppress inflammatory foci ➢To improve overall health and working capacity Differences and advantages of the Enterococcus faecium L3 strain •Absolutely harmless •Effectively suppresses the growth of pathogens •Restores the individual microbiota •Promotes normalization of metabolism and modulation of immunity •It synthesizes a wide range of vitamins •Highly technological Objectives The goal of this study was to test probiotic supplement, specifically the Enterococcus faecium L3 strain in the treatment of difference trichology pathology .
Methods Included in this study were males and women between the ages of 23 and 64 years of age, in good health, with mild to moderate AGA, alopecia areata, telogen effluvium. They had supplies with 100 mg of probiotic daily for 3 months. Evaluating with standard macrofoto e trichoscopy before and after treatment.
Results The results of this pilot study showed a highly positive response to treatment. The investigative staff assessment report showed that 60% (6/10) study subjects dosed with the active study formulation were rated as improved at the final visit. Conclusions This study establishes the effectiveness of probiotics against different trichological pathology and justifies the expansion to larger trials. We are just beginning to learn which microbiota play a role in healthy skin and hair how the entire microbiome plays a role in this.
